I tried this morning, after unlocking the skills, and killed a group of 6 minos on my first go. I am in total shock it worked so well. I don't have any solo characters so this was a new experiance and will take refining (for me at least). Thanks for the tips.

Who are you to call me an asshole?!? I never said that the OP couldn't post what they did. I simply said that most players already know that successful farming consists of Mo/* or */Mo. I am not a burden to noobs at all. I am a generous player and give freely of both my time and my items to help new players. And they won't pwn me with a copied build that they don't understand how to use. Silly Ranger did a very nice job making a basic monk farming build. Doesn't matter if the primary is Ranger or Ele or hell, even Mesmer or Necro oughta be able to use it with modifications. Don't judge me when you don't know me. And this build is still a monk build. No amount of calling it something else will change the fact that there are 7 monk skills on that skill bar.

Link removed.
This is my guild mate's video. Please do not ask me about his attributes and equipment. I don't play Ranger, so I can't even tell you all of the skills in his bar beyond the EoE, troll, symbol and lightning reflexes. The rest of them, I have no clue.

If you would have taken the time to look at my previous posts, I attempted to help by suggesting alternatives for a smiting monk that I know will work better for him. My first character thru the game was a healing monk which I used for smiting later on. After hundreds of solo UW runs with my monk and my ranger I believe I'm qualified to help this guy out.
As for calling me an asshole I don't believe that I deserve that since I was polite and honest in all my posts (I was never rude and didn't resort to name calling. In fact, since this was your first post in GWG and you start of by name calling, then I believe that would make you the asshole sir.
Someone please strap a griffon suit on this guy so I can smite his ass!

I doubt he'll post the build here. He posted the video on our guild forum. I have joined him occasionally when he feels like making his already short runs even shorter by having an emo smiter present as well. Lemme tell you they go down about 3x as fast with emo smite + symbol of wrath he's using + EoE. I actually slow him down though because I'm a slowpoke in town, lol. He gets mad waiting on me and makes 2-3 runs while I'm busy arranging stuff.

Quoted for truth! And, he doesn't need a griffon suit. Last time I was in PvP (today - got my rank 4, thank you!), smite worked on players too. I think double smiting would take him down twice as fast. What say you, my fellow asshole?

Silly Ranger, you state in your post to please credit you if this build is spread. I honestly believe you would be stealing credit from others that thought of this type of farming many many months ago. Now, if you come back and post a serious farming build that is primarily focused on using Ranger skills that can successfully solo 7 or more Drakes, Hydra, Grasping Darkness or what ever! Then I will bow down to your greatness and give you the credit you would so justly deserve.
1) The search engine is your friend.
2) Your post is redundant.
3) Dansamy and I are assholes hunting down "Bane Of Lhaigne" to slap him with our YakSlappers.

Silly ranger has never been rude with anyone so please don't denigrate his post.
This post is maybe redundant, but as i said sooner in this topic, me and some others players have not the time to read all that is written on farming in this forum.
So this topic clearly entitled "R/Mo Farming" which is maybe a monk build, is easy to find for a poor player like me with only one ranger character and only 10 minuts per week to search on the net for farming with ranger. Typing key words on google only lead me to this topic, so this topic is usefull for me.
So please let this post being what it is, that is to say a perfect way for noob like me, to find a new way to have fun with this game.

I'm not being rude to Silly Ranger. I'm being rude to Bane Of Lhaigne, who knows absolutely nothing about me (or my generosity as a player), yet he calls me an @$$hole. He deserves every ounce of Holy Wrath and Retribution I can send back to him.
The video I posted uses 7 Ranger skills. I'm sure those of you who play Ranger can suss out the skills and from there reasonably extrapolate the attributes.
Wmscasey, have I played with you before in Tombs? My PvP name is Maya Calandra or I use my PvE monk for prot - Saint Jude Thaddeus. I have run in some groups with eol members, but I don't recall what the group was running. Either way, I was probably an emo on Maya or prot on Jude.

Well guys... Im sorry this post has turned out like this.
Im being honest when I say this, I made this build. To my knowledge there isnt another Ranger primary build using this. I dont check Elementalist guides or whatever 'cause I honestly dont care about them. I know that Monk smiter farming has been around and I have know builds for Monk smiters (Which is how I thought up most skills in this build) I have myself tried to find R/Mo farming builds but later found out about trapper builds. I dont like trapper builds or other Ranger builds 'cause they arnt as fast and easy as this build.
I was working on this build with a person I made friends with. We tried all different things - Using pets, using lots of healing skills, using defensive skills etc... None of these worked so I went onto more of a smiter build and that was the creation to this. I did work hard trying to make this and it took me a while to make.
Lets stop all of this abuse in this topic now guys, in the end. You like the build you dont. You think im lying you think im telling the truth. You wanna use this or you dont. Its all opinion and this topic has gone well off what was intended.
So, to all of you how want to use this build I wish you the best of luck.
Im sorry guys, maybe it was my fault that Bane Of Lhaigne said what he said. Lets move on guys and forget about that. We understand and im sorry.

Hmmm.....not sure. It's quite possible we have met in PvE. Or guild groups together often for farming and questing. My monk is "Roxie Rooter" and my Ranger is "Poison Viper". I rarely use my warrior. It's possible we went on a FOW run together. If I see you in game, I'll make sure to say hello.

Oh, I'm glad he/she has a build to use for soloing. More power to ya. I think all the classes should be able to find a skillset and location that allows them to farm. Even if most will depend on smiting's high dps to pull it off.

Dansamy, i don't understand how your friend on the video kill the grawls who aren't close to him.
Ok for the grawls around him : they die from reversal of fortune, thwirling defense and EoE. But the others who are far from him, only take EoE damages.
So how is it possible ???
Has this video been realized before EoE nerfing ???
There is something i don't understand.
